Cheryl Gray Mitchell
Retired Science Educator
Cheryl Gray Mitchell is a retired science educator with a professional background in biology, chemistry, curriculum development, assessment, teacher professional development, and student research.
Her career included teaching AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and Honors Chemistry at The Episcopal Academy and Tower Hill School, as well as more than two decades of work with the College Board as an AP Biology Educational Consultant.
Through her work with the College Board, Cheryl led teacher workshops and professional development, contributed to AP Biology curriculum and assessment, wrote and reviewed AP Biology exam questions, and participated in the annual AP Biology Exam Reading. She also served in senior scoring leadership as a Question Leader and Table Leader.
She studied Biochemistry and Cell Biology at UC San Diego.
